After breakfast, you will depart Tarangire and head for the Serengeti National Park. Arrive at the Serengeti in time for lunch. Venture into the park in search of the big cats and herbivores of the Serengeti Plains. Return to your camp in time for dinner and overnight stay at the Camp or Lodge in Serengeti.
A full day will be spent on a game drive at Serengeti exploring the park and in search of a game. There will be a picnic lunch at the park before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Besides its annual wildebeest migration, the park is famed for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the big five-named for the five most prized trophies taken by game hunters. Natural habitats include savannah grasslands dotted with acacia trees, magnificent rock outcroppings called kopjes, swamps, dense bush as well as streams and rivers.
